Teaching Greek Language…

If  you  talk  to  a  man  in  a  language  he  understands, that goes to his head.
If  you  talk  to  him  in  his  language,  that  goes  to  his  heart. – nelson  mandela

A Message for my students and their parents

My name is Yanna Stamouli. My students call me Kiria (Mrs) Yanna.
Nelson Mandela’s words are my guide to teaching.

Being a teacher is a wonderful job,
nevertheless being a foreign language teacher is an amazing explorative trip.
That is why I am here!

I am a mother of five kids and I came to U.S.A with my entire family some years ago (2016)
to teach and to learn.
I work with my students on exchanging knowledge and, trust me
we are doing a good job so far.

I am a certified teacher in Greece and I have 15 years of experience in teaching.
I love my job and I love being among kids.

Children are “the future” and “the hope” of this world.
Being a part of their development requires responsibility and cooperation.

Parents and teachers are the captains of their ship and
their ship needs to find a safe and proper harbor.

Let’s travel with our students to this amazing cruise
of learning Greek language!
